ADAPTATION & EVOLUTION
This should be included in your poster "Background" but because of the constraints of the class and time we can not test this particular characteristic.

2) Each group will be responsible for running appropriate tests ("protocols") on their unknown substance that will give data that either supports or disproves their characteristic. All raw data (unprocessed) will be reported here under the appropriate group section. The other groups will be utilizing your data to make charts or graphs as appropriate and conclude which substance(s) is/are living.

3) Experimental protocols should be detailed for each group and must contain an independent variable (what are you testing), a dependent variable (how are you testing it/measuring), and a control (the comparison).

4) Once all data is collected, you will be given a week outside of class to construct a poster that displays a Title, Background Information, Hypothesis, Data, and Conclusions.

5) Download and use the rubrics to fully understand the requirements. The end grade will be for the ENTIRE group. Within the first day or two of testing, group members may request to 'drop' a member who might not be pulling their weight by having a meeting with me and that individual to discuss.
